Why We Built This Site
Maryland gives the public a real measure of access to court and agency records, and the hard part is knowing which office holds the piece you need. A warrant does not live in a single file. The court that issues one sets the charge and any bond, and that court alone can recall it. The Sheriff's Office carries the order out and keeps its own service record. A District Court traffic case and a Circuit criminal case are answered by different clerks in different buildings, and city police departments add a third layer of records that never includes a warrant status.
Without that map, a person can check one office, find nothing, and conclude there is no warrant anywhere. So the pages here collect the addresses, phone numbers, search fields, record-request steps, and resolution routes for each office, and they say plainly when an office publishes no list at all. Somerset County publishes no public warrant roster, and we do not pretend otherwise.
What You Will Find Here

- Open orders: what an active warrant search can and cannot show in a county with no published roster
- Missed court dates: how bench warrants arise and which court can clear one
- Charges: how arrest warrants are signed and served in Somerset County
- Traffic and city cases: the traffic warrant route and the city court warrant picture for the county's two municipalities
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Maryland court, sheriff's office, or state agency, and there are firm limits on what we can help with.
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a walk-in appearance
- We cannot give legal advice or say how a warrant applies to a specific person
- We cannot promise that every phone number, fee, or address here is current today
Only the court that issued a warrant can confirm or change it, and only the sheriff's office that served it can speak to its own service record. This site can point you to those offices, and the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages here carry search boxes run by outside companies. Those providers set their own prices, keep their own records, and answer for their own results. When one of those tools leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee, and that revenue keeps the reference pages free.
What those tools return is not an official warrant check. A partner result can be incomplete, out of date, or matched to the wrong person, and the court file always controls.
